The Notecard Exercise

For this exercise, you will need:

-1 notecard
-1 pen
-1 big goal

On the notecard, write a goal in big, capital letters. There are three requirements for the goal:

-It has to be big.
-It has to be attainable within the next twelve months.
-It has to be phrased in the present tense.

Write down your goal, and make it look good. You will be staring at this card repeatedly for a while, so take care to make it look the way you want.

Now, flip over the card.

Write down all the reasons why you want this goal.

Make a good, comprehensive list. Then, cross out any itme that includes a negation--"can't," "won't," etc.--and if you like, you can rephrase that item and add it to the bottom of the list.

Now, it is time to manifest. But instead of manifesting the big goal on the front of the card, you are going to manifest the little reasons on the back of the card.

Read the first item, and preface it with, "I am so happy and grateful now that..."

Spend a moment in bliss, as you see yourself already in possession of this quality.

Then move on to the next item. Go through the entire list this way, and end the exercise by flipping the card over, and manifesting your big goal.

Continue this until your big goal has been achieved!
